David S. Barry



David Barry studied American history at Harvard and began his career at the Associated Press in Boston. He moved to Los Angeles and wrote feature articles for California Magazine, three of which generated motion picture deals. He was an automotive columnist for Vogue and a staff writer for the Los Angeles Herald-Examiner. He covered the Los Angeles Police Department for APBNews.com and reported covert drug trafficking for the Los Angeles Times and Court-TV. In 2003 he co-authored the true crime on Wall Street book "The Scorpion and the Frog." After moving to Pennsylvania, Barry reported politics and crime for the Philadelphia City Paper and the CrimeReport.org. He covered the presidential campaign for the Bucks County Herald, for whom he is now a correspondent.
